Anderson High School has multiple opportunities for students to participate in Color Guard. Our Winter Guard Program is an audition-based organization that begins in October and concludes in March. Currently, we have two competitive guards at Anderson High School. The Varsity and Junior Varsity guards compete in five to seven competitions each year in IHSCGA (Indiana High School Color Guard Association). Winter Guard organizations practice outside of the school day two evenings out of the week and they have camps and contests on Saturdays. During the school year, AHS has a dance class that meets every day. Students learn the historic Pregame Indianettes routine for Varsity home basketball games and they perform in two dance recitals (one each semester.)
